We believe that to truly learn something, people need to have an experienced teacher guiding them.  The better that teacher is at relating to their students through effective communication skills, patience, empathy and an understanding of the different ways that people learn, the more effective they will be at helping a student grasp the concepts involved in scuba diving.  We select candidates who believe that to be able teach people to be the best divers, they need to be taught by the best instructors.  Our instructor candidates are the best because we hold them to a higher standard.  Instead of requiring them to learn and demonstrate only the “minimum required standards”, we make our candidates exceed those minimum standards as well as demonstrate a high level of proficiency and excellence in everything they do.
